TERROIR WINES

Located on gently rolling slopes overlooking the Garonne, Château Vieille Tour benefits from a privileged geographical location in the Cadillac region, on the Côtes de Bordeaux wine growing area.

Jérôme GOUIN signs his "cuvées" from local white and red grape varieties, such as Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc,  Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec, and offers a collection of wines ranging from reds (fresh and fruity to powerful and oaky) to whites  (dry or sweet), including rosé wines and Crémant de Bordeaux rosé.

Notes de dégustation

Cuvée "Exception 2010"

"The tasting of Château Vieille Tour, cuvée "Exception" signed by Jérôme GOUIN, reveals a fantastic diversity of aromas that takes us on a journey through the seasons.

Winter notes of liquorice, cedar and sandalwood  with an enveloping balsamic freshness, punctuated by notes of vanilla and cinnamon, reveal the essence of the terroir. Spring is dressed up in a fragrant floral garment, borrowed from elder flowers. The rather summerly fruit is pretty ripe but still crisp, with very recognizable aromas of black, juicy cherries, blackberries and bramble wood. When autumn arrives, the notes of truffle and prune compote stetch over their tertiay perfumes.

On the palate, the character, strength and generosity of the wine expresses its origins with pride. Lean and elegant at first, round and generous on the mid-palate, fresh and aromatic on the finish, Château Vieille Tour 2010 shines bright. It is ready to taste .... Enjoy ! "
